If you have rules for a reason, they should be followed. But in this case the rationale for the rule is based on a normal fall season that needs to be wrapped up in time for playoffs. In the current situation it’s hard to see the point in an 11 game per school year limit.

I guess I shouldn't expect anything more from a body who lets the big boys cheat all over and punishes UMass for telephone jacks or some such. You all see that?
