...hope so. Hope those tears flow on 10/21 though.

Watching their game against UTC, it's noticeable that the Mocs share Furman's offensive DNA. Shotgun, multi back/multi TE sets, lot of RPO stuff, which is supported by a physical running game. Their QB is more of a passer, Furman's is more of a dual threat guy.

The Mocs had pretty much whatever they wanted against the Cats on offense. I didn't really appear WCU was able to eliminate any part of the UTC offensive attack.

On defense, WCU shares a lot of schematic similarity to Samford. They want to spread you out and run into a lightened box. Their offensive line is a bit more aggressive and physical than Samford's.

I think we'll move the ball. I think the question is if we can get some defensive stops.

Those fake injuries would never be convincing without tears. :D

We remember last year, but I had forgotten that two seasons ago in Cullowhee Furman also jumped out to a double digit lead that they saw deteriorate in the fourth quarter.

I suppose on a positive note, Furman is averaging nearly 42 points per game over their last three contests. Most notably, they've had no answer for Dominic Roberto, who has run wild on them just about every time out.

We're gonna have to bow our necks defensively at some point. WCU has had our number on that side of the ball the last two years in a way no one else has.

Not sure what this will actually mean. I think it would be dangerous to risk losing your top RB for the year to a hamstring reinjury.

I have no idea the health status of Reid. I would be absolutely flabbergasted if WCU would disclose his health status at any point prior to when their offense takes the field Saturday.

Even if he's limited or not playing, they're going to want us to prepare for him.

Granted, if your running back isn't 100%, we're a tough defense to get right against.

Maybe they should fake more injuries. Might help their defense.
Not if Roberto's running wild on 'em during their fake injury timeouts.

Personally, FUBeAR thinks their Defense would be improved if their DB's wore MORE sweatbands.
