UVA DT offered. Was a PWO at UVA. Similar to Dudek. Came in at DE size and has worked his way into more of an interior spot.

Lots of FU DNA @ UVa. He should be thoroughly vetted and reliably recommended if we’re offering him.

Based on the couple of DL offers and all the portal follows from Coach Lewis, I kind of felt like this was coming. Still says pending so guessing they still haven’t heard if he’s going to get it. I’m sure someone knows if this is a Furman has to move on kind of thing or if X decided he needed to get his name in the portal just in case. We may never know for sure though. Hopefully he comes back but guessing we aren’t banking on that.

"Pending" 5th year seems to indicate that the NCAA hasn't yet approved his medical waiver.

Noticed that David Alabi is no longer on the roster. It may have been mentioned previously, but I didn't see it when I (very briefly) looked through the site search. Probably also explains why we've offered a few DE's as well.

With Stephens potentially coming off the roster, Alabi already gone, and the lack of depth at Bandit, our depth and youth on the line stand out even more now. Chiedo being the only guy a Junior or above. I do feel like we have enough guys at DT that one of them could switch over to NG if we needed more depth there, but DE/Bandit is precariously thin (in my opinion). Considering Chiedo missed time the last 2 years and Stoneking is coming of an injury, we're still very inexperienced with game reps in those spots. Feels like we would really benefit from 2 more linemen, even if they aren't expected to be starters.

There is a reason most of the P4 programs have GMs now. I'm not sure how Furman does it. I would imagine it's still a lot of our coaches doing the leg work, but hopefully they have some more help than they had a few years ago.

Not only a GM but a payroll department. Clempson built a new building last year just to house their athletic payroll department.
