All must not be sunshine and rainbows in JC or Coach Lamb is on the move despite his recent contract extension to ‘28.

Lamb's name has been thrown around with the Charlotte job so it's possible! Kerwin Bell also mentioned there. Saw a twitter rumor yesterday that Bell had turned down an extension from WCU. Certainly sounds like he's looking to move on to somewhere else.

Also mentioned at Kennesaw. As a young, dynamic, successful Coach, who, it seems, is seeking rapid upward mobility (nothing wrong with that), he will be mentioned for many G5 jobs (particularly in the South) that come open in the next few years…unless he stays at ETSU…and flames out there.

Long snapper Jacob Hefner is enter the portal. I believe Hefner was a PWO. The last long snapper announced on a signing day was Julian Ashby. I believe Hefner and Riley Smith are both PWO's. Seems like it's going to be Smith's job next year.

From what I understand, Kennesaw moved to the FBS with seemingly very little plan for how to have success at that level from a facilities, coaching salaries, etc. standpoint.

If it were me, and I was a hot young coach, I might consider whether that is a good fit.

ETSU is already on their 4th coach since restarting the program about 10 years ago. If Lamb leaves, they may want to reconsider a few things.

LOL - ETSU’s Athletic Administration is ever ‘reconsidering.’

Just cannot be happy where they are and focus on improving the ‘garden.’

Always looking over the fence for greener grass. Their AD is constantly saying they need to leave / they’ve outgrown / / they’re too good for / they are too big for / they are too proactive for … the SoCon. Usually hisses, through his perpetual sniffles, that it’s because of “the privates” and that Chattanooga and WCU are in lockstep with his dissatisfaction. They aren’t.
