49’ers playec their first exhibition game and not sure MP but if he did he did not get a pass thrown to him as he had no receptions or targets. The 49’ers currently have 6 TE’s on their roster and had 7 earlier. MP is their biggest TE listed at 6’6” 254 lbs. The other 5 TE’s are at least 6’4” and 240. MP is the only rookie TE and all the others have at least 2 years. I guess NFL teams carry 2 maybe 3 TE’s? Hope he at least makes the practice squad.

He does not get much publicity on her, but Nick Verna has done a really good job with the position.
It's a great recruiting pitch for Furman not only utilizing the position, but taking non-traditional-type players and getting them NFL opportunities.

Think I saw him only on special teams so must be far down the depth chart? Practice squad would be nice at least.

I saw him lined up on the final 3 plays of the game.
He is still on the roster with 5 other TE’s. 49’ers are on NFL Network at 10 Friday night.
The 49’ers picked up another TE so back to 7 on the roster. I would think they would only keep 2 TE’s maybe 3 so MP will probably get cut today. Hope he at least lands on the practice squad.

This is an interesting report - I guess this means 49ers intentionally didn't feature him much to keep him off other team's radars.
I was thinking that may be the case. According to sources out on the left coast. Stash him on your fantasy roster and you may have gold in the 2nd half of the season. Tight end in the NFl rarely play all 17 games. At least it seems that way.
