Except for the 3 mentioned still undersized. Of course a lot of those undersized are young so plenty of time t9 beef up. Still have 6 months before the first game if there is one, so plenty of time.

^^^ the undersized tag IMO just doesn't fit especially in a CCH system.

I just listed the three 300 pounders just as a point of reference. FuBear can speak to this far more than I can - but that group of freshmen all under 280 is prototype CCH linemen. I just don't think you can measure linemen by their weights.

Agree, weight is over-rated most of the time! It’s more about strength.

And feet. The first step is key.

Weight, height and speed are not worth a tinkers damn if the team isn't playing.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
