For those of you not staying in Nashville, here are a few suggestions on places to eat in our fair city. The following are downtown near the APSU campus/stadium:
Strawberry Alley - varied menu, also has bar w T.V.'s, dinner or lunch.
Blackhorse Pub and Brewery - brew their own multiple beers, dinner or lunch.
Edwards SteakHouse - dinner only.
Roux - Cajun, lunch or dinner.
Yada Yada - more of a breakfast/lunch place.
Liberty Grill - lunch or dinner. Couple miles south of downtown overlooking the river.
Johnny's Big Burgers - more of a lunch place with good cheeseburgers but somewhat of a dive. Not the Rainbow but similar.
There are multiple chain restaurants out near interstate 24/mall area including O'Charleys, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Rafferty's and many others. My choice would be Rafferty's in that area and Strawberry Alley downtown.
Clarksville is not only home to Jasper's 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) but also the 5th Special Forces Group (area of Ops- Middle East), and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Nightstalkers). Helicopters/Pilots from the 160th flew the mission to take down Osama Bin Laden in 2012.
If you are lucky enough to run into some of these fine, dedicated soldiers, Please thank them for their service. My son-in-law is with the 160th.
