Why is it Furman can never win the big games anymore? Coaches did a terrible job preparing these guys mentally and physically. Play calling is terrible!

Good thing not many people really care about SoCon and FCS football anymore, this won't really matter in the grand scheme of things, heck football in general seems to be dying out, these SoCon attendances resemble sparse soccer match crowds

Haven’t won at Woff since 2006!!! Now our next chance is 2021. 15 years MINUMUM to win there. And that’s IF we win.

NO, if Citadel beats Wofford we indeed will be in writing at least-co-champions!
Wofford knows how to win big games. They have been in the playoffs 3 years in a row and 8 of the last 12 years. We are trending upward but really who have we beaten this year? What really good team have we beaten with CCH as our coach. The conference overall is down. We have been in the playoffs 2 of the last 12 years.
Again trending upward but I think many thought we had arrived early this season. Playing FBS teams close is not the same as beating them. I thought we might go 10-2 after our first two games. Of course, the QB situation was great at GA State and up and down since then.
I really do think we are a decent team - top 20, maybe top 15 on a good day. Despite what happened today. But it’s hard not to look at the facts. We’ve beaten 2 3-8 teams, 2 4-7 teams, 2 5-6 teams, and a 6-5 team this season. We lost to the four best teams on our schedule, the last two weren’t particularly close. We as a program aren’t there yet, but I truly believe the future is bright. Not to mention there’s a shot we could have two playoffs berths and two co-SoCon titles in first three years of new coach. I’ll take it. Hoping for a playoff berth, a home game and a shot at an FCS power in round 2.
