All of the scenarios that are possible make for interesting discussion. However, it's really simple. Win this weekend and I don't have to be concerned about anything. I look at this game like it's a playoff. We should be singularly focused on Wofford. The team will take the same approach because they control their destiny. A win this weekend guarantees a seat at the table and the possibility of a bye weekend and a home game in round two. That said, the Point game has a lot riding on it's outcome as well. For those concerned about our lack of wins at Wofford...we can make this a home game by showing up in mass. That playoff game in 17 sure felt like a home game. If 7,500 can show up for VMI, there is no reason why 5,000 can't make the trip to Sparkleburg.
I was in Fargo the last time. if we play them again, i will likely be there. BUT first i gotta go to Sparkle City.Davemeister wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 10:40 amTo be the best you have to beat the best.
In the words of Don Vito Corleone: "A (team) can have but one destiny."
If it is our destiny to face the freezing climate of Fargo, we must embrace it - and deliver a Purple punch in the mouth! What better way to set the FCS World on its ear than to slay the Bison in their lair?
