Texas State was playing Stanford in the final game of the Stanford regional with a chance to go to their first ever super regional. With 2 outs in the top of the ninth they got a 2 run single to take a 3-1 lead. 3 outs away from achieving somethng they had never done. Stanford broke their hearts by hitting back to back homers to start the bottom of tge ninth to tie it, then later walked it off with a base hit. Texas State we feel your pain.
