ACC in 2024 post-season football games

Hard to believe that, so far, only 1 ACC team has won a post-season football game this season: Syracuse.

They have 13 opportunities and they have succeeded only once so far with 3 chances remaining.
One way to think of this could be a hypothetical situation in which SoCon football teams in FCS playoffs would go 13 years with a total of only 1 or only 2 or only 3 playoff or only 4 total playoffs game wins.
For ACC to have 2 or 3 or 4 bowl wins this year, against their 9 losses so far:
Duke will have to beat Ole Miss,
and/or VT will have to beat Minnesota,
and/or Louisville will have to beat Minnesota.
Go Duke.
Go VT.
Go Louisville.
Rally.

Thanks. I’ve edited mine now because of info you pointed out that I was not keeping up with precisely.
By the way, what I found just now is that you apparently have NCSU with 26 and ECU 21. As you pointed out, it was and ACC loss - so NCSU had the 21.

Don't think you can call the ACC a Power Conference. In Football or Basketball.

The ACC is a power conference in football and basketball, etc.; and that is the reason we are noting how unbelievable it is that ACC teams have lost so many post-season games this season.
(I acknowledge that the ACC has a lower level of resources than the SEC and the Big Ten. Still, the ACC is a power conference.)

Correct … and the Edsel was a gasoline-powered automobile, also.

Not surprising at all. Just a weak league. Their confenence champion had 2 wins against winning teams. Beat a 7-6 Pitt team in the last minute and beat SMU on a last second 57 yd fg. Basketball is not much better if any. Adding more weak teams in California and Stanford didn’t help any.

6 of the top 7 (and 7 of the top 13) Division 1 women’s soccer programs are in the ACC.

Too bad that SoCon teams have such a poor record against a so-called “in name only” power conference.
Remind me of the SoCon’s results over the last 10 (ten) years against ACC teams in football and men’s basketball. I remember only that we’re 1-0 against UVA in men’s basketball thanks to a miraculous 3-pointer at the end of a game that allowed us to win by a point or 2.
(Feel free to also use, in addition, similar comparisons with the ACC versus Big South and/or CAA teams over the last 10 years.)

I think fails to blow a 2 TD lead describes it better than wins the game.
