Bowl Game Attendance
Myrtle Beach Bowl, 12,023. (Stadium Capacity: 21,000)
To see Marshall and Connecticut play.
After seeing that, I decided it would be interested in looking at the others played so far.
Las Vega Bowl, 29,750. (Capacity = 65,000)
Oregon State & Florida.
Lending Tree Bowl, Mobile, AL, 20,512. (Capacity 25,450)
USM & Rice.
Something or Somebody Bowl, Inglewood, CA, 32,405. (Capacity 71,500)
Fresno State & Washington State.
NM Bowl, Albuquerque, 22,000. (Capacity 39,000)
BYU & SMU
Frisco Bowl, 12,000. (Capacity 25,000)
BSU & NTSU
Cricket Celebration Bowl, Atlanta, 49.670. (Capacity 75,000).

I believe it is possible that there may be too many bowl games.

Most Bowl Games are made-for-ESPN events.
Of course.
In many cases, getting to a bowl game is treated, talked about, written about, commemorated, etc., by schools as a great achievement, when the teams are mediocre at best.
If FCS playoff game attendance is considered unimpressive, it perhaps should be considered in the relative context of FBS schools’ unimpressive bowl game attendance.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
