Good to have at least one team from eastern half of the country still playing.
Idaho’s stadium capacity is 16,000. ESPN was too slack to even list the attendance like ESPN did for the other 3 semifinal games, but even if the Idaho stadium (Kibble Dome) had a sellout attendance, it would have still been less than the attendance for the Furman-Montana game.
Congratulations to U Albany Great Danes!
Go Furman Paladins!
PS: I am glad we are the Furman Paladins, and we are not the Great Danes, the Terriers, or the Bulldogs, etc.
Go Furman Paladins!

The SoCon and CAA are just as good or better than the cowboy conferences. FU, Nova and Albany proved that. If weather is not a factor next week, Albany will beat SD State in my opinion. They have a great passer who will shred the SDS run oriented defense. The pundits need to stop their bias toward these western teams and bring them east to play these important games rather than play in snowstorms or iced over fields most of the time. At least the Vandals played in an indoor facility that looked like a huge barn. Pretty cool actually.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
