The headline is misleading. ETSU is not cutting any scholarships for football or baseball. The cuts in rosters will affect the number of walk-ons on the rosters. They are eliminating men's indoor track and field. Outdoor track and cross country are not effected.

Just a hypothetical…

What would ETSU & the NCAA do if…

…14 ETSU Football Players, 6 ETSU Baseball Players, and 1/2 of the ETSU Men’s Indoor Track (only Indoor Track - those that do not participate in Men’s Outdoor Track and/or Cross Country, as these Teams are, apparently, unaffected) Male Student Athletes (however many of those there are - don’t imagine it’s many, if any) held a news conference and announced that they have had a sudden mass epiphany and all 20+ of them now identify as women?

When will college athletic officials realize that they can save a lot of money by eliminating all segregated (by gender) teams and just sponsor unisex sports teams. Any woman who wants to tackle a 240 lb. 4.5 40 yard dash running male fullback is welcome to give it a try.

ETSU and the NCAA would first need to hire a pecker checker.

Nope - FUBeAR has been advised that those appendages, which he believes you are referencing, are now "lady penises" if the Student Athlete identifies as a woman. So, it's now perfectly normal for a Woman Football Player, a Woman Baseball Player, or a Woman Indoor Track & Field Student Athlete to have what you have termed "a pecker." No need for anyone to be a "checker" of said "peckers" as having one (or not having one) now has no bearing on the Student Athlete's eligibility to participate in Women's sports nor their classification with regard to Title IX. That would be discriminatory. If they identify as women, THEY ARE REAL WOMEN!

The real upside for ETSU would be ALL the positive press they would get for having so many brave and strong women breaking out of traditional gender roles to participate in what have previously been exclusively Men's sports - Football and Baseball. The Bucs would be absolutely burning down the patriarchy! ESPN would definitely put them on the flagship multiple times!!

No need for appendage checking, a simple DNA test would do. If these people followed the Science, that is.

Why do you hate these ETSU Women Athletes so much?

They are just trying to be their authentic selves, live their truths, and play the games they love - Football & Baseball - as the amazing Womens Athletes that they are!

They may say they are women. When one of them has a baby then I'll believe it. Until then.....

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
