Don’t know if true or not but channel 4 last night said he was called up again.Mentioned him as a Greenville native and former Furman Paladin.

Pitched the 6th tonight. Gave up 1 liner single between fly out to left, pop up to short, 2-3 ground out attempted to bunt on. Looked in command, threw strikes, very few pitches required to get out of the inning.

JJ is back with the Blue Jays, saw him pitch the ninth and get tbe d-backs 3 up and 3 down including 2 k’s. His last outing was against the chi-sox on 7/6 when he pitched 1 and a third and got 4 outs in a row.
Watched Jackson pitched the 9th and 10th innings against the Dodgers last night and get the win.He gave up 0 runs, 0 hits and struck out 2.

Jay Jackson has made the Twins opening day roster. The guy has bounced around several organizations but his career MLB numbers are really good. He has been blessed to not incur any severe arm injuries so even at age 36 he’s still going.
His contract is for 1.3 million this season with a club option for 3 million in 2025.
