Sullinger has NCAA tourney experience, that's going to come in handy when we go dancing next season :D

Averaged almost 35 minutes per game so played a lot. He won the MAC’s sixth man award the previous year.

The leading scorer for Kent State this season, second in assists. Sullinger made steady improvement the past couple of seasons. He went from 4 ppg to 9 to 15 . On the 22-23 team that lost to Indiana in the NCAA first round he hit 43% of his threes. About the same size as Alex Hunter but his playing style and stats remind me more of Jordan Lyons. Doesn't have that 4:1 assist/TO ratio like Pegues. Has a quick release and long range on his jumper.
KSU was 17-17, 8th in the league, but made it to the MAC tournament championship game. They lost 62-61 to Akron. Kent State had taken the lead with 6 seconds left but one of their players fouled an Akron player on the inbound pass because he thought they were still trailing. The Akron player hit 2 FTs for the win.

I've been an Akron fan since conception...have watched Jalen play a lot against the Zips as they're huge rivals. This pickup is BIG. Just about fell out of my chair when I read the news. If our player leadership and chemistry are close to what it was 2 seasons ago, next year could be very special and a fantastic opportunity for our younger guys to learn from experienced veterans.

Outside the tweet has there been an announcement from Jalen?
He doesn't use his twitter and doesn't have an instagram from what I can tell from his social media links on the kent state website
