Another HUGE pickup for us!

This is HUGE!!! Got some height down low (and he seems like a bigger body than Bowser). Not sure how much eligibility he has left but his stats look great. Averaging 13 ppg, 10.7 rpg AND shoots 37% from three. I hope these stats translate, because if they did, we'll be looking dangerous

Looks like a 6'11 version of Slawson! Imagine him and Bowser in the front court together, our version of twin towers lol :)

Gotta go out and get a ball handler who can make his own shots and we are golden. Robert Morris Josh Corbin please???

Unless CBR lands a big get I expect to see PJ handling the majority of the PG duties next year...this is his natural position.

Johnston is a 60% FT shooter so he probably won't be a major threat from 3, pop one here and there, but he does appear to be a legitimate starting center.

Assuming Bowser gets similar backup minutes at the 5 as last year, that seems to leave about 40-45 minutes per game total for:

Hien
VanderWal
Hughey
Molnar

Which is a massive decrease from last season. Unless maybe Hughey and/or Molnar shoot well enough to play the 3 some, but realistically I don't see how it's possible to fix the 3-point shooting if the on court lineup has 2/5 real shooters.

He shot 37.7% from 3 last year, better than anyone on the FU team except AW. The bad news is his team went 7-20 this year and he only attempted 53 three’s sixth on his team in 3pt attempts.

Johnston showed a significant level of improvement from his first to second years. He averaged 5 ppg and 5 rebs as a freshman and 13 ppg and 10.7 rebs as a soph. His 3pt% and FT% improved some, too. He became more confident in his three point shot as this season progressed. He attempted about 3 times more threes during the second half of the season compared to the first half.
