Once someone has entered the transfer portal, I would at least think twice before inviting them back if he had a change of mind.

I wonder if Carter would reconsider since JP is leaving? Makes me wonder if he knew about that when he entered the portal.
Rather have the scholarship than Whitt. He turns it over too much and can't shoot.

Whitt had a PER of 13.3, well below average. CBB Reference liked his defense, so his overall performance was close to D-I average, but it was his fourth year of college basketball, so the upside is limited. Low major starter or mid major backup for a winning team.

Carter was our best team player. Many of his turnovers were due to the fact that he was always a step ahead of his teammates. I wish him well wherever he ends up.

IMHO Dins would be extremely fortunate if Whiitt were to return.

If Whitt could shoot he would be a tremendous player. My uneducated opinion is we ought to try to keep him and encourage him to practice his shot night and day in the off season.
wonder if this means Carter is out at Belmont now
