A couple of interesting names popped up on the transfer list. Jack Karasinski 6'7" forward from William & Mary is leaving after they fired their coach. We tried to sign him out of HS - Grand Rapids, Mich. We were after him and Vanderwal the same year. They are somewhat similar players. Vanderwal maybe better at small forward, Karasinski was a bit more of a post player. We offered Molnar after Karasinski picked W&M.

Malik Dia, 6'9" 240, is leaving Belmont. Athletic big man who has some shooting ability.

Former Paladin Andrew Taylor is on the move again. Wants to leave Mississippi State after earlier leaving Marshall for MSU. How does Taylor even have eligibility left? He was in the same signing class as Slawson and Bothwell.
Malik Dia will be going high major for sure

Not a big man, but 6'5 Nils Cooper - son of NBA Laker legend Michael Cooper.

One of the issues in bringing in transfers to Furman is that they will actually be expected to attend classes.

Assuming this thread is just a summary now of all big men in the portal whether they mention Furman or not?

Correct - was a wish list. Never was those that specifically mentioned Furman. Although posting them when seen.

Another guy we were after once is on the transfer - 6'3" soph. Angelo Brizzi is transferring from Davidson. That is is his second transfer. He originally signed with Villanova over a couple of dozen other offers. No idea how much interest we would have, but there is a connection. He red-shirted one year at Villanova and has two years of eligibility.

Mid major stars don't hit the portal in order to transfer to another mid major.
