They said indefinitely on the broadcast. I hope it will be soon!

Man. Been rough on injuries this year. Indefinitely worries me. Anyone know what happened?

Saw he left game only 16 minutes of play vs ETSU. Hasn’t played since

Yes, something along the line of behavior detrimental to the team.

It’s a shame, as AW has worked so hard since he got here to get into great shape. He’s totally transformed his body. Now he needs to really learn to how to play in the system and his role in it.

Didn’t he have a pretty lengthy suspension toward the beginning of last season?

Yes he did. I don't know if his current suspension is related to basketball or something off the court but it seems the team chemistry has improved. But I hope he can come back as long as he plays within the offense. He's still a great shooter and has the potential to be a great player.

What this game shows is that outstanding effort on defense and teamwork in general leads to wins. Coach R calls that playing connected.

If we can play like today in Birmingham on Wed. night Samford might be in trouble.

Its related to strife with the coaches after/during the ETSU game when he was pulled in the second half

Having too many players on the floor that can't score is ruining my attitude.

That has been our problem all year..thats why we need Williams ...we need shooters on the floor and we don't have enough right now..its doubly hard to win when you don't shoot well...

Don’t have any data to back this up but thinking a 3 game suspension for disciplinary reasons is the norm. Hopefully he will be back Saturday. If not he likely is not coming back this season.

Pretty sure this is not Williams's suspension as last year he didn't play until SC State. Hopefully, he isn't rusty for SOCON tournament.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
