Probably the best game we've had.

Congrats to the team!
I second that. We had all 3 phases working.

It will be nice to face a team we haven’t seen before.

I believe it was Anderson (correct me if I am wrong) who had a long run and could have had more but pulled up lame and went out of bounds around mid-field along the Furman sidelines. He clearly pointed to his hamstring. Hopefully a very minor sprain where therapy this week will help him.

I honestly think we can beat Montana (or Delaware). I really do.

It was Hicks. I don't think he was in the rest of the game.

2 weeks ago UTC had 233 yards and scored 10 points against Alabama.

Today UTC had 200 yards and scored 7 points against Furman.

And the scores vs Bama were a TD in Q2 and a FG on first possession of the second half (before Bama emptied their bench).

Hard to see…but he may have thought Shiflett had the ball and he’s trying to knock it out / tackle him. DB had his back to flight of the ball & didn’t see the INT

Definitely didn't seem like a chippy game. You could tell both of these programs had mutual respect for one another.

Not just that play but a lot of after the whistle activity by Chatt all day. The refs let it go as they should. Barton getting flagged for unsportsmanlike was BS!

When was that?

Don’t recall it during game and don’t find it in Play-by-Play searching “Barton,” “Unspo…,” or “Penalty” and viewing them all.

Not sure I understand UT-C's coaching strategy late in the game. Instead of trying to throw downfield to catch up, Rusty benched his QB and seemed content to help us run out the clock.

Sorta like conceding and getting on the bus.

Barton got hit and flipped what I thought was late by a MOC, I'm guessing the REFS saw this as playing till the whistle. Barton rolled right up and shook his finger somewhat in the face of the MOC player. I thought it was a picky call.

Sochovka and the refs were having heated discussions most of the game, same for Clay. Not sure what was going on.

Yep. One of few negatives was RB health. Hicks clearly pulled up lame on that run. Hammy can be very tough

Never saw KT

Roberto looked 80%

Big one is how good Robinson looked !!! But then he left injured late in game. My hope is it was an upper body thing and his legs are good to go. Anyone know ???

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
